Queer beach makeover! Yeah!
I’m getting rid of some of my swimwear, as i’ve come to realize that my preferred swim suit is the one i was born in.
1. Underworks swim suit. $30 for the top, $15 for the bottom. Or $40 for the set!
Top is a Medium 918, Bottom is a Small 908. For sizing info, see here for top and bottom. The top has been worn once. Bottom has been worn maybe 10 times, has a little more history- it’s been to Coney Island, the Puget Sound, and the Colorado River! There’s a front mesh lining that could easily be turned in to a pocket for your packie!
2. Saturn Sarong! $5!
This was a purchase from a trip to Greece many years ago… before the Euro!! It has gotten very little use, so it has no signs of wear. It’s a bit wrinkled because it’s been in a box in my closet, waiting to be let out into the sunshine and shown off at Riis. It measures about 1 meter x 2 meters.
3. Marimacho Coney Island Swim Top (Medium) $30
Worn once, to the Coney Island Polar Bear Plunge! This top does not bind, but it is very comfortable. It is out of stock on the Marimacho website, but usually sells for $50.
4. Old Navy Ace of Spades board shorts (Men’s Medium) $0
FREE to a good home! These are about six years old, but i don’t swim often, so they haven’t gotten much use. The drawstring is a little discolored from Chlorine. It used to be a black string, now it’s dark grey. They come down to the top of my knees, and fit comfortably and more slimly than they appear.
5. The North Face Flight Series lightweight jacket (Women’s Small) $15
I can’t find a link to the original specs, but this is a great jacket. It’s too small for me, unfortunately. It is a very light jacket, mostly lightweight fleece, with breathable panels on the sides - not quite mesh, but as light as that. Perfect for spring/fall biking, or midnight beach parties when the temperature drops.
Preference goes to NYC area folks, to avoid the need for shipping, but if you really want something and you wanna pay to ship, it won’t cost much, since it’s all very light-weight!
